The AXA Art Prize US 2026 is a prestigious competition for art students enrolled in academic programs in the United States. Artists must submit two-dimensional figurative artworks, excluding photography and digital art. The competition offers a first prize of $10,000 and a second prize of $5,000. The 40 finalists will have the opportunity to exhibit their works in a show in New York, with further international exhibition opportunities. Selected works must be transported and ready for exhibition by the artists themselves. The application deadline is 16 March 2026, and participation is through the Submittable platform.
