The Michigan Design Prize 2026 invites K-12 students to create a furniture concept that addresses specific issues or meets particular needs, usable in various environments. Participants can work individually or in teams of up to four members and must submit a project description in English, possibly supported by a video. Finalists will receive mentoring from professional designers and will be recognized in promotional media by the Michigan Design Council.
