The Orchid Gallery has opened submissions for its 2026 Open Call, aimed at selecting artists for solo exhibitions, themed group shows, site-specific installations, and other programming opportunities. It is primarily directed at artists of color residing or working in the Greater New Haven area, seeking to support creatives not commercially represented. The exhibitions last between 8 and 12 weeks and are open to the public. An Artist Statement, CV, and artwork documentation are required. Artists can also propose site-specific installations in line with ConnCORP’s mission. The submission deadline is set for 15 March 2026. Participation is free, promoting greater inclusion in the art scene.
