Arizona State Parks Artist Residency
The Artist Residency in Arizona State Parks offers local artists the opportunity to immerse themselves in the state’s natural landscapes. Organized by the Arizona Commission on the Arts, the residency will take place from 25 April to 10 May 2026 at Oracle State Park. Participants will receive a stipend of $5,000 and a reimbursable materials budget of $1,000. Accommodation and workspace on-site will be provided. There will be an open studio session for the public and community engagement activities. Applications, open until 19 February 2026, must include samples of recent artwork and answer narrative questions about the artistic growth potential offered by the residency. The initiative aims to connect art with the environment, promoting the conservation and appreciation of Arizona’s natural and cultural heritage.
