The BAX Artist in Residence program, active since 1993, supports multidisciplinary artists in dance, theater, and performance, focusing on cultural justice and artistic development. From 2026 to 2028, it offers a free residency with institutional support and a stipend of $8,000. Artists participate in monthly meetings and receive rehearsal spaces and professional consultations.
