The LIFT program, promoted by the Native Arts + Cultures Foundation, offers support to emerging Indigenous artists in the United States through a $15,000 award aimed at developing new artistic projects. This funding is complemented by a professional development pathway that includes mentorship, training on legal rights, financial management, and marketing, enhancing artists’ abilities to address issues such as cultural sovereignty, environmental sustainability, and social justice. Eligible applicants include Native American artists from federally or state-recognized tribes, who are not students and have not received a significant award previously. Applications are open until 19 March 2026.
