The ‘Scarpetta d’Oro 2026 Illustrators’ competition invites illustrators and artists of all ages, both professionals and amateurs, to submit visual works inspired by the theme ‘In the Footsteps of Tomorrow’. Organized by the Politecnico Calzaturiero, with the support of Confindustria Veneto Est, the competition aims to promote creativity in the footwear sector. Participation is free and open to both Italian and foreign individuals, and the use of artificial intelligence software is prohibited. The winner will receive a prize of 1,300 euros and the opportunity to illustrate a winning text. The deadline for submission is 24 July 2026. Examples of the works will be displayed in an exhibition, and the winner’s work will be published online. Additional special prizes are also planned.
