Stony Brook University is hosting a short fiction contest open to full-time undergraduate students enrolled in institutions in the United States and Canada for the 2025-2026 academic year. The contest encourages participation from students with Asian backgrounds, but is open to all. Submissions must be unpublished and not exceed 7,500 words, accompanied by proof of enrollment. The winner will receive $1,000, a scholarship to the Southampton Writers Conference 2026, and the opportunity for publication in TSR: The Southampton Review. Participation is free, and entries will be accepted from March 1, 2025, until July 14, 2026.
